Hong Jin-young (born August 9, 1985) is a South Korean trot singer and entertainer. She was a member of the short-lived South Korean girl group SWAN, which debuted in 2007. In 2009, she returned to the music scene, debuting as a trot singer.
My name is Hong Ji-young, and I'm an artist from Seoul, South Korea. My artistic journey began during my childhood, when I discovered my love for art at the age of 8. From those early moments of creativity and exploration, I embarked on a lifelong path of self-expression as a painter.

Born in 1971, HONG Ji-young first majored in philosophy before studying film production at the Hankyoreh Cultural Center. She pursued her studies at the Korean Academy of Film Arts, from which she graduated in 1999, and joined soon after the film crew of <Interview> (2000).
