Other realities of ownership- well-known issue with coolant loss which the forums & Audi are aware of, & affects the Golf R & Seat Leon Cupra.

Great value for money when you compare to less upmarket brands for a similar car. 1.5 engine is not rapid but enough for most needs . Standard suspension still corners well but soaks up pot holes ( plenty around) .

   After using a plethora of rental cars whilst waiting for the new A3, I really appreciate its taut drive, and it’s very composed through corners, the default sports suspension irons out all but the worst of UK roads. I’d stick with the default S-line suspension despite what reviews say.
