“High-fidelity” experiments, I propose, are those that can provide very strong evidence against the presence of a virtue, merely by observing a single behavior. This is in contrast to those who think one-time behavioral experiments cannot, in principle, provide strong disconfirming evidence of virtues (e.g., Sreenivasan, 2008).
