Hell Town is a drama TV series starring and created by Robert Blake which aired on NBC, starting in 1985. Jenny Lewis guest starred on the eleventh episode entitled My Girlfriend, Annie, which incidentally featured none of the main cast apart from Blake.
The series began as a 2-hour TV movie in March of 1985, and began airing regular 1-hour episodes in the fall. Despite its success, Blake was experiencing a nervous breakdown and walked away from the show, ending the series after fourteen episodes.
Noah "Hardstep" Rivers is a Catholic priest at a church in a crime-ridden neighborhood on the east side of Los Angeles. As he was a former criminal who grew up in the neighbrohood, Rivers knew the gangs and drug dealers who terrorized his parishioners.
