The Carnegie Museum of Art is an art museum in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The museum was originally known as the Department of Fine Arts, Carnegie Institute and was formerly located at what is now the Main Branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.

Aug 10, 2024 · The cost of admission provides entry into both museums, which is a great value. I recommend 3-4 hours if you are interested in both museums. All of the art is housed on the 2nd floor of the building, and there are MANY famous artists showcased. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Pittsburgh!
