Welcome to the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center! Part of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, we offer art classes, workshops, exhibitions, gifts and a variety of event and meeting spaces available for rentals. Come visit us and see what we can do for your artistic interests!

The Cultural Arts Center has one of the largest and most welcoming art gallery spaces in central Ohio. With regular exhibits across two galleries, we offer an ever-changing array of mediums, colors, philosophies, approaches and artistic statements.
Explore our many class options including our most popular one-hour glassmaking classes. These classes are a great introduction to a specific glass method. When you’re ready for more, we have our series classes, lasting from 4-6 weeks, that take you deeper into working with glass.

Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department's Cultural Arts Center (CAC) provides visual art experiences for all. We serve as a learning hub and creative space for visual art classes, exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, tours, and more!
