You can make a complaint about your employer or employment agency, or complain on behalf of someone else.
Your complaint will be directed to:
•HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), if it’s about the National Minimum Wage
•Employment Agency Standards inspectorate, if it’s about employment agency legislation (except Agency Worker Regulations)
•Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), if it’s about agency workers in agriculture, horticulture, shellfish gathering or associated processing and packaging
•Health and Safety Executive (HSE), if it’s about working time issues, including maximum weekly working hours
Jun 7, 2017 · Provide proof that you are owed this - any timesheets, evidence that you went to the assignment, correspondence between you and the agency and or client. I would also check out their website to see if they are a member of any regulatory bodies, trade associations etc and write to those advising them of a member's poor treatment of workers.
If the agency or hiring organisation have refused you a right under the Agency Workers Regulations 2010, or treated you unfairly after you asked for something you have a right to, you can make a claim to an employment tribunal.
