Jun 8, 2022 · Hawk's Eye is a true Northern Michigan golf course layout. The course is carved out of natural landscape of the Cedar River valley, sculpted through dense hardwood forests, with elements of elevation and undulation, and water and sand hazards, that challenge all golfer types.
Michigan State University's Forest Akers Golf Courses offers two 18-hole championship layouts, a state of the art practice facility referred to as the Golf Center, two full-service Golf shops, and a full compliment of services.
The West Course at Forest Akers is one of two 18-hole courses owned and operated by Michigan State University in East Lansing. The West is the premier tournament layout for the Spartan golf teams and also hosted the Division III Women’s National Golf Championship in 2021.
