The quotes will never match because the 'Essential' policy removes several elements of cover and alters the terms of other sections. The result - the price is cheaper and appears nearer the top of comparison sites.

Sep 27, 2024 · Moneysupermarket aren't Hastings, they are just an online insurance search engine. Your policy is a online policy as in via the app. I have an online policy but it's via a web portal, but app or webportal it's all the same, it's online.

May 15, 2021 · I got my renewal from Admiral, and after haggling I got it down to be £35 cheaper than last year for same cover. However, I have done a comparison on couple search engines, and whilst there are cheaper ones, most I have never heard of. Hasting Direct is the only one I recognise and the Premier policy seems to have a good level of cover.
