Harry Harris Park. We stopped in for a short visit while driving through the area. It's a nice facility with protected swim area, good for kids. Picnic tables, ball fields, boat launch, restrooms. This is a great public beach. So clean with a playground which is well maintained. It would be perfect for children.

Harry Harris Park in Tavernier is a great park for little children to swim or just wade into the water. It is short ride from Key Largo. The park has a tidal pool, an area of water surrounded by a rock wall. It is shallow but deep enough for scuba lessons by local dive companies.

This is a nice little park on Key Largo. Great for snorkeling and watching wildlife. If you look along the rocks to the east of the boat ramp, you will find non-native African agamas.
