Congratulations to Richards graduate Dwyane Wade on his selection to the National Basketball Association's 75th Anniversary Team. Just 75 players received this honor. It's well-deserved for D-Wade, who received just three scholarship offers as a senior at HLR.

He immediately excelled as a wide receiver and also played as a backup quarterback, but success in basketball took longer. [15] .
