As Erasmus the preacher desperately tries to organize a baptism with Megan for her son Ned, hippies build a camp on 'Hafod Haidd'. Whilst Gron is trying to evict the hippies, Evan becomes intoxicated under their influence, and Ned decides to join them.
Whilst Bet is away to pick up her new pet poodle, Ned disturbs an intruder in their home and knocks himself unconscious, which results in a personality change. Now a pleasant individual, he's eager to show off the new poodle at 'Hafod Haidd', where he divulges that he's offering an award to catch the burglar.
