The Center for the Creative Arts and Technology elevates the creative process by bringing together computer science and the visual and performing arts. With 50,000 square feet dedicated to imagination and creativity, our students will have unique, cutting-edge opportunities to learn and create.
Hackley is a rigorous school with high-achieving students, but we do things a little bit differently: we celebrate learning, growth, friendship, community, and the “college fit” rather than our “college list.”
Anticipated for completion in 2024, this 50,000 square-foot landmark space will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, uniting four major disciplines into one building from computer science to the visual and performing arts.
The music program at Hackley promotes an appreciation for music as a discipline and as a vehicle for personal expression across all grade levels, providing students of all levels of interest and ability to hone their musical skills through participation in Band, Vocal, and Strings.
Oct 24, 2023 · In order to create better spaces for their art and tech departments, Hackley has set its sights on developing the Center of Creative Arts and Technology. This new expansion is only a step towards Hackley’s masterplan of improving its campus.
We are excited to share that Hackley received a total gift of $30 million from Herbert A. Allen ’58 to support construction of the proposed Center for the Creative Arts and Technology and financial aid endowment.
