Watch it here: This dark comedy opens with the sound of a heartbeat, inspiring adrenaline in the audience. The film couples this sound with POV shots, including an effect to mimic the closing and opening of eyelids.
Gunnar A.K Järvstad’s made his feature debut with ”Trädgårdsgatan” (2017) and the film was nominated for a Guldbagge for best screenplay. He then continued to write for TV on Dragomir Mrsic's nordic noir ”Alex”, and on the first season of ”Top Dog” based on Jens Lapidus' novel.
Apr 6, 2011 · It’s a very rare occasion that I’ll actually watch a short twice, back to back, but Gunnar Järvstad’s Tune for Two was one of those rarities. Well shot, brilliantly acted and totally unexpected, Tune for Two almost feels like a perfect short.
Tune For Two is a short film by Swedish director Gunnar Järvstad about an unexpected connection between an executioner and his victim. Two characters, a snowy landscape, a gun, a shovel and a freshly dug grave are the few elements that compose this short.
Gunnar A.K. Järvstad är manusförfattare och har även arbetat som regiassistent och platschef vid många svenska filmproduktioner. Han har tidigare skrivit manus till en handfull kortfilmer, och Trädgårdsgatan (2018) är hans långfilmsdebut.
