Secret letters written by John F Kennedy to his Swedish mistress, Gunilla von Post, have been put up for sale online. One autograph signed letter and two partial handwritten letters are currently listed for auction on RR Auction and are dated between 1955 and 1956.

Gunilla was surprisingly open about her fling with the famous American politician and even called their intimacy a "revelation," per The Sydney Morning Herald. "I was relatively inexperienced and Jack's tenderness was a revelation,” she wrote in her memoir.
Von Post and Kennedy saw each other only one other time: a chance encounter at a gala at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City in 1958, when the Swede was pregnant with her first child. The auction house says Kennedy wrote letters to aristocrat Gunilla von Post in 1955 and 1956, and announced, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, that they will be going up for auction.
Almost two years after, the pair “spent a very blissful and intimate week consummating the relationship” in Sweden, according to von Post’s memoir, the RR Auction summary states.
