Jan 7, 2018 · Here, people from a wide range of backgrounds; mechanics, students, factory workers and many more – 35 in total- volunteer their time to a cause; the Galway SPCA. Volunteers with three of the 83 animals in the SPCA’s care. The GSPCA is composed of both the Kilimor sanctuary and the city cattery.

The society's main base is its sanctuary between Killimor and Portumna where it cares for dogs in the dog sanctuary.
