Grojband (portmanteau for "garage" and "band") is a Canadian animated television series created by Todd Kauffman and Mark Thornton for Teletoon in Canada and Cartoon Network in the United States.

Twelve-year-old Corey Riffen starts a garage band with his three best friends and quickly realizes that their band sucks. Corey's lack of lyrics is the problem. He can't think of anything cool to write about, until he finds his older sister Trina's diary.
Corey decides to play kids parties, by dressing like Super Heroes. But when Trina tries to out them as frauds the band becomes famous through a series of heroic deeds! / Corey gets the band a job as royal minstrels to a fake princess at a LARP game. Anything goes on this weird day where ten comets fill the sky, and wacky magic is everywhere.

All of the season 1B episodes have been released in the Cartoon Network website, and later aired on Boomerang on January 10, 2015.
It was announced by Todd Kauffman and Mark Thornton, that Grojband will get renewed for a second season if they get at least 200,000 signs on a petition by May 2014. . This was unsuccessful, however.
The Episode Shorts were 50 small clips of Grojband characters created for the website Grojband - The Show Must Go On!. They could be viewed by playing games on the site and creating Wicked Cool Transitions.
Grojband was created by Neptoon Studios in conjunction with FremantleMedia, Ltd. and Fresh TV. The show is/was aired by many companies all around the world, including: 1. Grojband has been shut out of Peaceville's Sludgefest. Corey decides to mow the adjacent cornfield and rock out, but the mower goes crazy, mowing a crop circle pattern. Four alien creatures arrive ready to battle.
