The village has a claim to fame for having being mentioned in the Doomsday Book as a Viking Settlement. Greenodd village retains local features like a traditional bakery and a butchers shop. The local church of St Mary's is well worth a visit. There are many local woodland walks to choose from and fishing is available in the Crake estuary.
Step by Step. Start at Greenodd, face towards the ship pub and walk left for about 30-40m. Follow the cycle route and go under the bridge, take the track up after the bridge and follow the path towards the bridge over the river. At the end of the bridge go left. Follow this through the gate, when you get to the cross road go straight across.
