The 2024 Missouri Native Grasslands Summit was held on April 9-11 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City. This event was hosted by Conservation Federation of Missouri, Missouri Department of Conservation and United States Department of Agriculture.
This all-inclusive event is designed for attendees to take a collective, deeper look into our state’s native grassland ecosystems, from remnant prairies to workings lands establishment and management, and collaborate with ideas and solutions to reverse the current trend in habitat loss.
CFM is partnering with MDC and NRCS to bring you the Missouri Grasslands Summit, a three day event dedicated to sharing knowledge and collaborating on grasslands management within the state. The Summit will be held April 9-11, 2024 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, MO.
Apr 9, 2024 · Presentations will include information on the management of native grasses for grazing, protection of remnant prairies, soil ecology, the biology of the full breadth of Missouri’s native grassland natural communities, and urban grasslands.
