Biography. Frances Laura Speirs was born on 26 June 1800 in Elderslie, Renfrewshire, her father, Archibald, was 42, and her mother, Margaret, was 27. She married Robert Cunningham Cunninghame Graham on 24 June 1824 in Renfrew, Renfrewshire. They had nine children in 19 years.
