Three things to make sure you have: 1 - A mount for the phone to attach to the dash or the air-vent (these can be bought quite cheaply) 2 - An Irish SIM card which you can put into your (unlocked) phone so you're no worried about data roaming.

Here are some things I noticed in daily use: Uneven Coverage Quality. While Dublin City is seen in good, detailed satellite images, some deep, confusing shadows in the city centre prevent it from being great.
