I passed by B-1 in 9 months. I have self-studied from June 2021 to March 2022. I’ve completed my A-2 certification in June 2021. Then right away I started studying for the B-1 exam. It happened after written part in a schedule. We had 20 or so mins to prepare (aka think what you would ask/say). It had three parts: introducing yourself and asking questions (aka basic small talk), A "discussion" - when you get one opinion and your partner will have an opposing opinion. You have to convince each other.
