   • Watching him perform, and listening to him perfectly nail Brown’s speaking voice are the true pleasures of “Get on Up.” Playing Brown from a teenager onward (Jamarion Scott complements nicely as the younger version of Brown), Boseman is never unconvincing, even in that embarrassing opening scene.
