Jul 28, 2015 · Gert Behannah was an alcoholic. She sobered up through Alcoholics Anonymous. There was a movie made about her, in a Hollywood sort of way: The Late Liz. It's online. I first heard this album around 1960. I recognized that this is an extraordinary speech. She is funny. She is believable.
