Parra Sue (Tomlinson) Russell, 90, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, one day before her 91st birthday at Ridgmar Medical Lodge, Fort Worth. She was born officially on December 26, 1929 in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Rufus Janes and Kitty Pauline (Sugg) Janes.
Ronald Michael Parra, our beloved son, husband, father, brother, and grandson passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019. Ronald was born on November 10, 1986 near London, England. He married Christina Samaniego in Fort Worth, Texas and they had two children, Alyssa and Michael.
May 15, 2020 · George Gause, of course, is the best known of Fort Worth’s early undertakers. He died December 18, 1938 in the Quality Hill home that was both his home and his funeral parlor. George Gause is buried in Oakwood Cemetery not far from John Peter Smith, who donated land for both Oakwood and Emanuel Hebrew Rest cemeteries.

In May of 1974 Mr. Brown was given an opportunity of a lifetime. Being a successful funeral home manager, he was given the chance to own his own business in Fort Worth. Meissner Funeral Home in the Polytechnic area, on the corner of Nashville Street and Avenue B (founded in 1933), became available.
