The film is directed by Alejandro Monteverde ( Little Boy , Sound of Freedom ) and stars Christiana Dell’Anna, Montserrat Espadalé, Romana Maggiora Vergano, David Morse, Patch Darragh, John Lithgow, Jeremy Bobb, Andrew Polk, Giampiero Judica and Rolando Villazó.
Lithgow is best known for "The World According to Garp" (1982), "Terms of Endearment" (1983), "3rd Rock from the Sun" (NBC, 1996-2001), and "Dexter" (Showtime, 2006-2013). Francesca Cabrini was born in northern Italy in 1850. She and six of her Missionary Sisters set off for New York City in 1889. Cabrini had aquaphobia.
