Sep 16, 2021 · The film Mermaids’ Lament is directed by Geoffrey B. Hajim, known as GB, a professional filmmaker who lives in Pāpa‘ikou on Hawai‘i Island. Over his 25-year career, he has completed over 150 projects from television spots to the first feature film in the Hawaiian language.
G.B. Hajim. Producer: Strange Frame: Love & Sax. G.B. Hajim was born on 25 February 1966 in Inglewood, California, USA. He is a producer and director, known for Strange Frame: Love & Sax (2012), Mermaids' Lament (2023) and The Young Oscar Micheaux: Based on True Events (2013).
Career. In 1997, GB Hajim produced a documentary about Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for the Discovery Channel, and collaborated with Pūnana Leo to create over 120 videos in the Hawaiian language.
