About Dr. Farkas. Dr. Gary Farkas has lived in Hawaii since 1975. Dr. Farkas was raised in New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers College. While at Rutgers, he received a grant-in-aid from the New Jersey Academy of Science, and a Graduate Student Research Fellowship from the Rutgers Medical School, although he was at the time an undergraduate.
Dr. Farkas is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a secondary appointment in the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
