It has turned into a bit of a tradition in our family for me to make a cake by request for my son for birthday each year. While my fondant cake decorating skills have improved over the years, there’s still quite a ways to go. On a few occasions, I’ve had to rely on cardstock cake toppers to finish the look. With the right colors and design, it can match the colored fondant cake perfectly. In case it wasn’t obvious, cardstock is a lot easier to work with than fondant.
