Angels Flight is a landmark and historic 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge funicular railway in the Bunker Hill district of Downtown Los Angeles, California. It has two funicular cars, named Olivet and Sinai , that run in opposite directions on a shared cable.
Built into a hillside in Downtown Los Angeles, it’s easy to miss this vintage gem. Angels Flight ® only runs for one block (298 feet to be exact), but it’s a steep one. It links the Grand Central Market at the bottom to the Water Court shopping mall at the top, connecting Hill and Olive streets.

Angels Flight is a very short but useful railroad traveling up a steep hillside in downtown Los Angeles. The view from the top is great, and it's actually quite a convenience for getting up or down the hill. It costs a dollar unless you have a transit card known as a TAP card, in which case it's a whole 50 cents.
