"Walk Like a Man" is a 1963 song written by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio and originally recorded by the Four Seasons. [4] The song is sung from the perspective of a man whose girlfriend has been belittling him, and who takes his father's advice to "walk like a man" and leave the relationship in order to preserve his dignity.
The last feature film from the late Florian Flicker is a cautionary constructed tale about seduction and power within a would-be-love-triangle, set in 2001, when Austria still felt like the end of the world. Hans (Andreas Lust) and Jana (Andrea Wenzl) are the owners of an inn, in the middle of nowhere at the Austrian-Czech-border.
The thing I really like about it is how believable its world is despite so little put in to convince you of it. The engagement to effort ratio is off the charts. Really felt like I was watching a bustling, nocturnal world even though in the back of my brain I knew I was really just watching footage of a normal street in Austria at like, 9 PM.
