Final Embrace ★½ 1992 (R) When Laurel's famous sister is murdered she decides to do a little investigating on her own. She's aided by a young cop who just happened to be obsessed with the murdered woman.
The film is nothing special and doesn’t break any new ground. Typical “whodunnit” thriller. A cop gets in too deep (cue Genesis) with a pop-star, she ends up dead and now he must put together the pieces to figure out who killed her.
