Inspired by the message of Our Lady of Fatima, Msgr. Harold V. Colgan and John M. Haffert founded the Blue Army of Our Lady, now the World Apostolate of Fatima, in 1947. Haffert enlisted the help of Sr. Lucia, the last surviving Fatima visionary, to understand Mary’s requests to establish peace in the world and spread the devotion to her Immaculate Heart.
