In 2017 Grossi was co-executive producer and composer for the award-winning documentary Sidemen: Long Road to Glory (Abramorama Distribution), in which the story of three blues pioneer musicians is narrated by Marc Maron, and with testimonials by Joe Perry, Bonnie Raitt, Greg Allman and Joe Bonamassa, pays tribute to their idols.
In 2010, Grossi toured Europe together with Grammy award winner guitarist Steve Lukather, drummer Kenny Aronoff & keyboardist Steve Weingart, under the moniker Goodfellas.
