Squad photograph from 2003/04, Exeter’s first season in the Conference Division where they finished just one place outside the playoffs in 6th. They failed to reach the First Round proper of the FA Cup, however in the FA Trophy Exeter did make the Quarter-Final.
Squad photograph from the 2002/03 season, which saw Exeter be relegated to the Conference, after a 23rd place finish in Division Three. City were in the FA Cup run up to the Third Round, but exited the League Cup in the First Round, and the League Trophy in the second round.
The project involved mass photography, which took place at the end of the 2015/6 season and produced around 300 evocative images of places, people and football, now included in this archive. The photos also formed part of the exhibition that opened at St James Park on 23 March 2017 in the hospitality area.

On the 100th anniversary of the club in 2004, the Brazil national side visited St James Park for a return match which the visitors won 1-0. Exeter managed a superb 0-0 draw against Manchester United in the FA Cup Third Round on Saturday 8th January 2005. Dido must have given the United team hell!
