Dec 13, 2022 · The other two problems (and my motivation to use the Omni) is the frequent need to switch between stick and mini throttle as well as the lack of a way to set a permanent reverse speed. Sadly the Omni is missing a center detent so until a better solution presents itself I'll have to use a bigger dead zone and (if I can get it to work) light up the LED when the throttle is at zero.
1 and 2 is the main two stage trigger, its currently really bad. Not good at all, but more on that later. 3 4 5 are three user definable bindings that are part of the secondary flippy trigger. Flip up is 3, flip down activates binding 4 and when the trigger is pulled to contact the main trigger, 5 becomes active.
The Blue LED indicates the level of the setting by number of blinks. The level of each setting can be set from 1 (Lowest level) to 9 (Highest Level). To increase the setting by one level, push up the Elevator stick once. To decrease the setting by one level, pull down the Elevator stick once. Switching to the next Parameter Setting
Brought the VKB STECS Standard throttle and the Gladiator nxt evo premium stick for DCS F-16 Viper. I'm struggling to understand this stick and throttle. I have watched the VKB YouTube Channel tutorials and have set up custom detents for the Throttle for idle and afterburner for DCS F-16 Viper but I still not getting it.
