Dec 14, 2017 · The major difference between Evaline and most schools is that Evaline has only two classrooms and so has multiple grades in each room. One room holds 26 kids in kindergarten, first and second grades. The other room has 30 kids in grades three, four, five and six.

Evaline School. The current Evaline school house was built in 1925, serving as the fifth schoolhouse for the district that sits just between Napavine and Winlock on present-day Highway 603. Evaline School District #36 was established in 1883 and was first named Brown School.

Dec 16, 2010 · For 127 years, the Evaline School District has served students growing up just north of Winlock and south of Napavine in one of the more unique configurations in Lewis County.
The Evaline School District #36 complies with all federal rules and regulations and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, age, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, color, national origin, sex, gender expression or identity, or use of a trained guide dog or service animal by a person with a disability.
School District No. 36 is Lewis County's oldest continuously operating school district, and the Evaline School is one of the last remaining two-room schools in Washington. Many of today's pupils are third and fourth generation Evaline students.
May 14, 2024 · Evaline School is one of the oldest and smallest public schools in our area. It was established in 1883 and operated as a 2 room schoolhouse until it was renovated in 2012, which was focused on modernizing and redefining spaces and adding a lift.
