After the Astraeus mission crew was beamed to an unknown location instead of Titan, I assumed the first episode of season 5 would address this mystery. Instead, everyone was back in Eureka celebrating Christmas with no mention of the launch.
Each episode featured a mysterious accidental or intentional misuse of technology, which the town sheriff, Jack Carter, solved with the help of town scientists. Each season also featured a larger story arc that concerned a particular major event or item.
Eureka was a good show but I got a little tired of the "Fargo pushes the wrong button " trope. That just smacks of lazy writing, and left too much of Grayston's potential unrealized. The chemistry between Colin Ferguson and Salli Richardson is a joy to watch.
