"Smarter Carter" is the ninth episode of the fifth season of Eureka.
Carter gets to meet Allison's equally genius older brother. Carter's intelligence begins to suddenly increase exponentially, and Allison needs to find out why before it kills him.
Zane, Fargo and Henry are trying to make the 'AI' house compatible with, Holly, who is now a Trans-human life-form, by constructing a Neuro-Digital interface. Holly has cabin fever, but they are working on it. When Fargo tells her that she is indeed stable, but must remain put for now, she phases out. Next she pops into the bathroom, where Zane is washing his hands, and pleads with him to figure out a way for her to be free.
Zane goes to Global Dynamics to brain storm with Henry and while they are compiling data to help Holly – Jo Lupo comes in. Zane explains that Holly is not happy in the 'Smart House' explaining to Jo that they need some equipment in order to resolve this dilemma. Jo is reluctant but finally gives them the nod. She leaves to head off visit with Doctor Parrish while Zane and Henry commence the process of making Holly whole and human again.
As Kevin is explaining his project on an 'Alternative to Silicon Computing' for the 4th time to Carter, we are drawn outside the Sheriff’s Office where there is crashing, running and yelling. Carter is immediately attacked by a pair of computerized, motorized legs or as Allison’s brother, Marcus says 'Gams”! Dr. Marcus Blake and Sheriff Jack Carter might have gotten off on the wrong foot but Allison is determined for them to get to know each other.
Turns out the Bionic limbs were a concoction of Zane and Henry’s. But when Jo recovered them from the Sheriff’s office and brought them to Henry’s shop, Zane informed her that they had moved past that phase of thinking. In the meantime, Holly has rematerialized at the shop and with Zane and Henry preparing to try a 'Biological Fabrication' of Holly, a living breathing body using Holly’s DNA and printing her on a lattice. The 3D printer their using, uses living cells. They're trying to do all of this, without Fargo finding out.
Jo leaves the shop agreeing to keep quiet about the copying job, at least for now. Zane confidently says 'Gonna Make Us A Woman'! Allison’s brother, Marcus letting her know that Carter is not Nathan Stark. Well, Allison knows that and doesn’t want him to be.
With Dr. Isaac Parrish, hot on the heals of the missing equipment, Zane and Henry need to hurry up with the 'Copying' project ASAP. Jo is trying to head him off, but for how long will this work?
In the final episode, "A Night At Global Dynamics", Carter, Nathan and Taggart work together to try and stop a supposed airborne flesh-eating bacterium, which was revealed to be a lie created by Henry Deacon in order to save Kevin Blake.

Jun 18, 2012 · When Allison's genius older brother comes to meet her new husband, Carter feels the pressure of not being smart enough to measure up.
Carter's role in the show has always been that of the average joe; the guy that the audience can most readily relate to. So considering the show's usual subject matter, it's only natural to imagine a scenario in which Carter's intelligence is artificially boosted.
Jun 19, 2012 · The smarter Carter is terrifying Allison. His new plan is to use Andy as the super computer they need to test his new theory. Super Jack just called Andy a robot!
Carter interrupts with a few questions, dissecting Marcus's theories and saying he's found a glaring error. Marcus tries to stare him down, but Carter says he can prove it. Carter takes him outside and shows him a processor he built in Marcus' car based on his design.
