Mar 27, 2024 · There can be several reasons why your pressure washer pump is not building pressure. It could be due to a clogged nozzle, a worn-out pump piston or seals, a faulty unloader valve, or air leakage in the pump system.
If your pressure washer turns on, but won't pressurize water, don't give up on it just yet; it's likely that the pump has gone bad. replace the entire pressure washer. And, it's easier to replace a pump than you think (how-to guide linked at the end).
