  2. It’s a scam… If by CAA you mean Creative Artists Agency. Legitimate Talent Agents will NEVER ask for money up front. They only make money once you’ve booked a job and that sum will be a +10% commission of what you make for that job and not part of it (Unless it’s modeling.

  3. Artist wants to pay me to use my profile photo for an oil painting. Asks me to receive a cheque from their client, then Paypal them the amount minus my cut of it. This strikes me as unprofessional, but I don't know much about what the norm is for artists.
