Under the direction of Assistant State Public Defender Kelly Culshaw, the Project was staffed with law students to review and evaluate innocence claims from those incarcerated in Ohio. Prior to her departure in 2010, Kelly arranged for a Fellowship program through the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where one graduating lawyer would be hired to work on the Project for one year.
Our services include advice and counsel on all matters having legal significance for the university, contract review, legal workshops and educational programs. The Office of Legal Affairs provides oversight of all litigation including cases assigned to special counsel appointed by the Attorney General for the State of Ohio.
