The Program. The University of Texas Medical Scientist Training Program at Houston (MSTP - UTHealth Houston/MDACC) is a dual degree program of The University of Texas McGovern Medical School and The MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS).
PhD Programs. Students apply and are admitted into the graduate school, not an individual program. This allows students to explore their interests and develop as scientists in an area of research that best fits their interests and long term career objectives.
