Dec 29, 2019 · If you are a ghost enthusiast and have visited Fredericksburg, Texas before, you may have heard tales of haunted landmarks in the area. These include the Kerr County Courthouse, Fall Hill Plantation, Baby Head Cemetery, and the Rising Sun Tavern.
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, located between Fredericksburg and Llano, Texas, is a pretty amazing place to explore. This rugged landscape is part of the Llano Uplift and is comprised of pink granite. This gallery contains some of my favorite photographs from this magical area.

Only 12 miles from Fredericksburg, a trip to Morris Ranch can be extended to include a visit to Harper with a quick return to Fredericksburg. Morris Ranch is included in T. Lindsay Baker's Ghost Towns of Texas. The Ranch is very much as it appeared in 1984 when the author's photos were taken.
The Haunted Fredericksburg Ghost Tour has two options: the Guided Ghost Walk Tour and the Fredericksburg Jail Tour for an additional cost. The Ghost Walk covers several city blocks (about a mile) and lasts one hour.
