The fourteenth season of the medical drama series ER which originally aired from NBC on September 27, 2007 and concluded on May 15, 2008. The season consists of 19 episodes. This title cover depicts Pratt inspecting a critical patient.
The series celebrates its 300th episode but due to the writers' strike this season runs three episodes shorter than normal. As a result, certain storylines were altered, including Gates' relationship with hospital chaplain Julia Dupree.
Victims of the anti-war rally protest are brought in, and adding to the tension is Moretti's harsh approach, which creates more tensions with Abby, Pratt and Morris. Gates reacts strongly to a patient that is a suspect in the protest explosion. The staff, including Dubenko are very worried about Neela's condition after the explosion. With Kovač in Croatia, the focus shifts to Abby as she adapts to life as a single parent.
