Situated on the edge of Epping Forest, a 6,000-acre ancient woodland, but also just a five-minute walk from Debden Underground station, where you can hop on a Central line train to London’s shops, restaurants and theatres, Loughton Campus has the best of all worlds.
The Epping Forest campus is located in Borders Lane in Debden, a suburb of Loughton. Epping Forest College was founded in 1989 as a tertiary college after the re-organisation of post-16 education in south-west Essex.
Epping Forest College was created in 1989 from Loughton College and a number of school sixth forms. The current campus is a bright, modern building near Debden Broadway, Loughton, with stunning views across to the city of London.
Jun 8, 2018 · On Tuesday a public consultation into the merger of Epping Forest College (EFC) with New City College closed. It followed the announcement that the Debden institution would become the fourth member of what will be the country's third biggest college group.
