2021 MIHL Awards. The Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League (MIHL) was formed prior to the 1999 - 2000 Michigan High School Athletic Association hockey (MHSAA) season with the stated goals of promoting quality high school hockey, good sportsmanship and player development. So far, the league has been very successful in obtaining its goals.
The SLUH ice hockey program has become a pillar of excellence and consistency in the St. Louis hockey community. A perennial championship contender, the program has enjoyed nine appearances in the Mid States Hockey Association Challenge Cup Finals since 2012, including four MSCHA Challenge Cup Championships (2013, 2018, 2019, 2022).
