Jul 14, 2020 · A new BBC documentary, The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty, due to begin airing in the UK on Tuesday 14 at 9pm on BBC2, has provided even more fodder on his life, and in particular shone a light on the women of the Murdoch clan.
- Lachlan Murdoch. Lachlan was born on 8 September 1971 in London. He studied philosophy at Princeton University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1994.
- James Murdoch. James is Rupert’s second son and the youngest of his three children with his second wife, Anna Murdoch – whom Rupert was married to from 1967 to 1999.
- Elisabeth Murdoch. Elisabeth Murdoch is Rupert’s second daughter and eldest of his three children with ex-wife Anna Murdoch. She was born on 22 August 1968 in Sydney, Australia and was named after her paternal grandmother, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch.
- Prudence Murdoch. Prudence Murdoch is Rupert’s eldest child and daughter from his first marriage to ex-wife Patricia Booker. She was born in August 1958 in Adelaide, South Australia, but moved to London with her father after her parents divorce in 1967.
