To address this knowledge gap, we investigated whether different measures of state-level legislation pertaining to access to reproductive care, including abortion, were associated with suicide rates of women from 1974 to 2016.
The interviews covered a wide range of topics including mental health, physical health, employment, educational attainment, relationship status, contraceptive use, and emotions about pregnancy and abortion (Biggs et al., 2017; Foster, 2020). Other comparison groups studies with primary data.

We searched the references of these articles and found one more study on suicidal ideation published since 2008. Three datasets were each analysed in two separate articles.
