I really don't see any real merit in the claim that Holy Knight is her best class. It was really overmentioned in the Bernadetta ranking during the Maddening tier list thread too. It's a meme build by virtue of needing to build up high Faith rank.
I prefer making her a Sniper for Hunter's Volley, which makes up for her ''meh'' STR growth. It's also a fairly easy class to get into, so can take the time to have her hope into other classes like...

Her 5 base 20% growth magic means her rescue range is pathetic. Canto and 8 range sounds good on paper, except that you actually need to reserve some of that range to move back because you can't afford to leave her up front on enemy phase. Her realistic range is more like 5-6.
